Staff Auditors
Job Title: Staff Auditor
Reports to: Manager and Partners
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in kick-off meetings, create request lists, create RCMs, walkthroughs, testing, write narratives, assemble electronic workpapers, update reports, correspond with clients, join conference calls, and in general, assist managers with any tasks related to completing audits.
A Successful Candidate will Possess the Following Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of bachelor’s degree. Some job experience preferred; office experience required.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and clients.
Mathematical Skills: Basic skills; ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, percentages or fractions; ability to make basic computations and to create and interpret graphs.
Physical Demands: This job entails roughly 75% of time sitting at a desk, with some standing and walking. It does not require regular lifting of objects over 25 pounds. This job requires that one has the ability to focus on a computer screen and/or paper documents for long periods of time.
Travel: This job entails at least 50% travel.
Work Environment: Work environment is not extreme in heat or cold, does not expose employees to any toxic chemicals or fumes. It is moderately noisy, i.e., business office with computers, printers, phones, light foot traffic and conversation.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
General Purpose of the Job: Assisting with the completion of audit engagements.
**All positions with this company require the ability to work independently, manage deadlines and complete projects successfully with minimal supervision.
