Position Summary
The Manager is responsible for leading the delivery, quality, and growth of the organization’s framework-based audit and assurance services. This role oversees end-to-end audit engagements across multiple standards and frameworks, ensuring consistent execution, methodological rigor, and high-quality client outcomes. The Manager provides leadership to audit teams, drives operational efficiency and continuous improvement, and partners with internal and external stakeholders to align audit services with organizational and client objectives. The role also supports practice development through process optimization, team development, and contributions to business development and thought leadership initiatives.Â
Key Responsibilities
Audit & Engagement Management
- Lead and oversee end-to-end audit and assurance engagements across multiple frameworks, ensuring adherence to established methodologies and quality standards
- Review audit planning, fieldwork, evidence evaluation, and reporting to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Manage engagement timelines, scope, and resource allocation to meet client and organizational expectations
Practice Leadership & Development
- Contribute to the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and processes
- Monitor emerging frameworks, regulatory trends, and industry best practices to inform practice enhancements
- Support practice growth initiatives, including service development, proposal support, and client expansion efforts
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and develop audit staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career guidance
- Ensure team members are appropriately trained on frameworks, methodologies, and audit tools
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous learning
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during engagements, building trusted relationships and managing expectations
- Communicate audit progress, findings, and recommendations clearly and effectively to clients and internal leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align audit services with broader organizational objectives
Quality & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and applicable professional requirements
- Identify and escalate engagement risks or issues and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
- Support internal quality reviews and audit readiness initiatives as required
Qualifications
Required
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CISA, CISSP, ISO Lead Auditor, or similar)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in audit, assurance, risk, or compliance roles
- Prior experience managing audit engagements and leading teams
- Strong understanding of framework-based audits and assurance methodologies
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- Experience working across multiple audit or compliance frameworks
- Prior consulting or professional services experience
